Hello. My name is Adorios The Metalloid Assassin. Ok, that's not my real name. However, it's my basic name that I use the most for the webernet, and some of you might recognize it from a story called Samus Aran And The War Of Eternity. But, that is not the topic at hand. I am here to say hello to all of you, and I am announcing a project called Breaking Down The Fifth Wall. In BDT5W, the goal is to make a set of amazing video games that are different from any other. If you are wondering what this "5th wall" is, then I might have to explain something.
Ever watch a sitcom or a play? Did that play have a room that was open on the side facing the audience? Well, that's called breaking down the 4th wall. The 4th wall is the wall that is the fourth in a room, any wall will do. But when you break down that wall, you can see every aspect of these people's lives through that wall, and they have no idea that you are watching (at least, they pretend they dont).
To break down the fifth wall is to break down the wall that keeps you from becoming one with that life you are watching, whether it's an adventure or a comedy or a tradegy or anything like that. In fact, the fifth wall isnt even a wall at all. It's that part of imagination that keeps you from imagining with the story. It keeps you from becoming a part of it all. Even books cant break down this wall. Only amazing and unique games can, whether top-down or sidescroller or FPS or a puzzle game.
I want to break down that fifth wall. And I will do it by reaching you all.
